This shows why the canoe had to go. The bottom panels were lifted, rotated, and stored using sets of pulleys rigged from the rafters. This has been a total one-person project, and so far I have lifted and moved all the pieces solo. Block and tackle are my friends.
On the jig are the frames being prepared for mounting.
Warning: The next time I would consider using laminated plywood or LVL for the frames. These 2x4s changed size and twisted over time and contributed to a slightly asymmetrical hull.
