This is how I spent the entire month of June and a good part of July (weekends and evenings). Filling, sanding, filling, sanding. . . to infinity and beyond. My standards for a fair hull exceed my skill, so I will keep doing this until I run out of micro-balloons.
I calculate that this boat has travelled about one mile so far, 24' at a time. Roll it out to sand, roll it in to fill. For the major fairing, I use the 30" fairing boards from 3M.

Quality control supervisor caught sleeping on the job.
By now the tomato plants on the left are over 3 feet high. (sanding dust as fertilizer?)
