Stitching the Bottom Panels
After the bottom panels where scarfed together, the birch plywood was removed from the jig, and temporary support frames were added. The bottom was then stitched together with wire twisted through pre-drilled holes.
I used square blocks under the wires to keep the panels aligned until the seam could be set in epoxy.
