Prep the Stringers

Because space is so limited, I had to build many of the parts and then set them aside before I built the building jig. The transom can be seen on the right. The LVL, sitting on the 6 saw horses, is ready for ripping.

The finished pair of stringers. Caution! They are sharp, as the cuts on my hand indicated.
After the first stinger was shaped with both power and hand planes, I transfered its outline to the second stringer for symmetry, (symmetry being a useful design feature in a boat hull). These stringers are stretched to accommodate the additional 2 feet of this Jumbo 24.
